Potted birch, mycorrhizated with Boletus
Mycorrhizated birch (Betula pubescens) wood producer and Boletus (Boletus edulis) in 7500 cc pot.
HEIGHT : 1.5-2 m
PRESENTATION : pot (7 liters).
PLANTING DATE : All year round with irrigation. Without irrigation the summer months should be avoided.
MUSHROOM PRODUCTION (up to 150 kg/ha per year): mushroom production begins when the plant reaches 6 years of age.
WOOD PRODUCTION : high quality white wood, widely used in joinery and for the construction of walkways. Leafy ideal for planting in meadow areas as its sparse foliage generates half shade conditions.
PLANTING FRAMES : 4-5 m for optimum mushroom and timber production.
GROWTH : Betula pubescens lives up to 100 years and reaches 20 m in height.
SOILS/WATERING : requires cool soils. Frequent watering is recommended in summer. This shrub withstands extreme climatic conditions (heat, snow, frost) up to an altitude of 1,400 m.
