Potted beech, mycorrhizal with Boletus

Purple beech (Fagus sylvatica) mycorrhizal and wood producing Boletus (Boletus edulis ) in 7500 cc. pot.

HEIGHT: 1.5-2 m

PRESENTATION : root ball in pot (7 liters).

MUSHROOM PRODUCTION (up to 80 kg/ha per year): mushroom production starts when the plant reaches 8-10 years of age.

WOOD PRODUCTION: high quality wood, widely used in carpentry and joinery. Leafy, highly valued for its ecological value and ornamental beauty.

PLANTING DATE: from December to April.

PLANTING FRAMES: 6-7 m for optimum mushroom and wood production.

GROWTH: Fagus atropunicea lives up to 700 years and reaches 40 m in height.

SOILS/WATERING: requires well-drained, preferably basic (at least pH greater than 5) and cool soils. Frequent watering is recommended. Not recommended for planting in drought areas.
