MICOKIT GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

• Place your shiitake mushroom micokit in a cool place, between 10º and 20ºC, with some light. The place should have some light, approximately 6-8 h of illumination avoiding direct sun. Do not place it near a radiator or any other heat source.
• Cut the top of the growing bag about 3 cm above the substrate. Leave it attached only on one side (it will serve to protect the humidity during the growth of the fungi)
• Place on top of the bag a protective plastic to protect the growth of the first fructifications. It is important to remove the plastic in a few days so as not to hinder the growth of the mushrooms.
• Water with a sprayer with water every day to keep the top of the substrate constantly moist.
• The bag will be ready to harvest after 12 to 24 days.
• Remove the mushrooms not by cutting them, but by pulling them off and trying not to damage the substrate. Re-cover the bag with the plastic bag. Continue watering the substrate daily to obtain a further bloom after 3 weeks
• The final mushroom production of each micokit will depend on the conditions in which it has been cultivated, producing about 30% of the total weight of the kit

The production depends a lot on factors such as humidity and temperature so you must follow the instructions provided to get a good production of thistle mushrooms.
