MICO-QT TARGET serum with Reishi and Cordyceps extracts
MICO-QT TARGET is our new dermatological body serum of Reishi and Cordyceps extracts with argan oil and urea, indicated for the care, prevention and early management of skin alterations associated with skin toxicity induced by chemotherapeutic treatments.
At Hifas da Terra we are committed to a new way of understanding health that places the patient at the center of attention, understanding their specific needs and applying knowledge of the natural world, to develop a range of specific cosmeceuticals aimed at preventing and controlling lesions caused in the skin by oncological treatments, especially some types of chemotherapy and the new anti-diana drugs, which helps to favor therapeutic compliance.
The efficacy of this novel organic cream is based on the synergy of its active ingredients, medicinal mushroom extracts Ganoderma lucidum and Cordyceps sinensis on a base of argan oil (Arginia spinosa) and sacha inchi oil (Plukenetia volubilis) , sodium hyaluronate, vitamins and aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis ) that modulate cellular activity, minimize skin oxidation and help relieve redness, dryness, flaking and hyperpigmentation, thus promoting healing and protecting against radiation.
MICO-QT Target contains urea, a component that has been shown in randomized clinical trials to be effective in preventing dermatological toxicity.
Mico-QT Target is formulated with extracts of two medicinal mushrooms of high therapeutic interest: Ganoderma lucidum and Cordyceps sinensis . For their extraction we apply the latest technologies, which involves regular fractionation of their bioactive compounds.
Extracts of Ganoderma lucidum and Cordyceps sinensis are rich in a multitude of bioactive compounds including β-glucans, natural antioxidants, B vitamins, essential amino acids, trace elements and minerals (Fe, Se, Zn).
Hyphae da Terra has developed Mico-QT Target, a formulation that has demonstrated antioxidant capacity of the two mushroom extracts present: 8.04 ± 0.10 g equivalent of Trolox * /100 g ─ Ganoderma lucidum ─ and of 3. 47 ± 0.16 g Trolox equivalent * /100 g - Cordyceps sinensis ─
*Standard used in assays to determine antioxidant capacity.
In experiences carried out at Hifas da Terra, the mushroom extracts included in Mico-QT Target have demonstrated antibacterial capacity against various strains of clinical interest.
Instructions for use
Cleanse the skin in depth with Mico-Soap ONCO (Reishi, calendula lemon). Apply directly with water or with the help of a cotton pad with special emphasis on the affected area. Dry gently.
Apply MICO-QT TARGET in sufficient quantity with a gentle massage on the affected areas. It is possible to repeat applications whenever necessary, even several times a day.
For external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes, lips, nostrils and mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact, remove the cream with plenty of water. Keep out of the reach of children.
Ingredients
Extracts of Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) and Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis) are of particular interest for the prevention and treatment of the skin against external aggressions thanks to their anti-inflammatory, healing and antioxidant power.
Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis) : the extract of this fungus promotes oxygenation and increased intracellular energy. It has also demonstrated anti-inflammatory activity and protection against radiation. It also reduces signs of fatigue, soothes itching and pruritus and prevents desquamation, thus allowing skin tone to be restored.
Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) and Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis) act at the cellular level. In addition, it has demonstrated anti-peroxidative and anti-inflammatory activity, protecting proteins from oxidation. The skin retains its elasticity and firmness, preventing dryness and desquamation.
Hydroxyethyl urea 10% : has shown efficacy in randomized clinical trials to prevent dermatological toxicity of anti-diana and chemotherapeutic agents.
Urea is known to improve the hydration of the stratum corneum. However, topical use of urea shows improved epidermal barrier function and possible antimicrobial activity. Urea has a very low toxicity profile, hence its potential in cutaneous use.
Following excretion of cytotoxic drugs through the exocrine sweat glands and formation of free radicals, the free radical load exceeds the capacity of the system, which could damage cellular components.
Aloe vera: nourishing, moisturizing, repairing and regenerating. It also contributes to greater skin elasticity, nutrition and hydration.
Coco-caprylate/caprate: has emollient properties that help soften, smooth and lubricate the skin.
Argan oil: acts as a vehicle to the cellular interior, facilitating the correct absorption of the active ingredients of the mushroom extracts. In turn, it regenerates, nourishes, moisturizes and protects the skin.
Sacha inchi oil: is rich in unsaturated fatty acids (Omega 3 and 6), vitamins A and E, amino acids and proteins. It has antioxidant, nourishing and moisturizing properties. It is indicated for the treatment of sensitive, dehydrated, inflamed and irritated skin.
Hyaluronic acid: powerful moisturizing action for dry and flaky skin.
Vitamin E (tocopherol): has antioxidant properties that help eliminate free radicals that damage the cellular structure. It contributes to the skins healing process by accelerating cell regeneration and helps maintain the skins natural moisture level.
Hydrolyzed Collagen: provides elasticity to the skin and prevents the appearance of wrinkles and sagging.
Ammonium Lactate: in combination with urea is considered highly effective for skin care.
Vitamin C: has antioxidant properties, stimulates collagen formation and contributes to improve elasticity.
Glycerin: prevents dehydration and has a regenerative function.
