HOW TO APPLY THE SUBSTRATE IN TRUFFLE NESTS

For the realization of the wells we will follow a concentric pattern from the trunk to the limit of the burn. The work begins to be effective from the second year.

The best time to carry out the work in truffle farms is at the end of the harvesting season.

The first year of work, from the 3rd or 4th year of planting and always depending on the size of the plant, we will make 2 or 4 holes with a minimum distance of 30 or 40 cm from the trunk to the beginning of the hole.

The approximate size of the hole will be 20cm diameter x 30cm deep and once it is made we will fill it as follows:

3/4 of the lower volume of the hole filled with Special substrate

Truffle culture mixed with the truffle spore preparation.

1/4 of the upper volume of the hole filled with the soil of the field.
