The Spanish developers of Manufacturas Muela have designed this Rhino Cocobolo , a fantastic piece made entirely in Spain and which has been called by the manufacturer himself as a multipurpose knife , due to its infinite versatility and variety of cuts.

MoVa CRYO-T steel

This type of material, of Albacete origin (Spain) , is an improved alloy that adds a combination of concentration of molybdenum and vanadium . The first material confers resistance to high temperatures , since it is an element that does not expand under conditions of abrasion . Vanadium provides high hardness .

The blade of the Muela Rhino will maintain the cutting edge very comfortably , and will also retain it in a spectacular way, which is why it is an intermediate-high range steel . In addition, this steel has undergone a cryogenic process that improves its performance.

The result is a hardness of around 57-61HRC , with a specific composition of 0.53% carbon, 0.50% manganese, 0.35% silicon, 14.50% chromium, 0.50% molybdenum and 0.18% vanadium.

Handle

The developers of Manufacturas Muela have chosen a natural material such as cocobolo wood to develop the ergonomic handle of Rhino Cocobolo .

Among the physical properties of this type of material it is important to highlight its high density, so it will resist to the maximum the impacts against objects. In addition, it has irregular veins , so that each piece designed with cocobolo will be completely unique.

Blade

The dimensions of the blade length are 10 cm , so it has an edge of large size that will allow deep cuts on large surfaces, hence it is ideal for continuous use on a daily basis. The blade style is Drop Point , a type of profile very popular in the cutlery world.

This style is characterized by having a strong and robust tip that allows directing and managing the cut or perforation in a practical, comfortable and simple way . The type of the blade is full tang, which greatly increases its safety , and its resistance to the passage of time.

Sheath

Do not worry at any time about your safety , as the knife can be carried in the sheath chosen by the designers of Muela . It is made of cordura , finished in leather . In addition, it includes the Muela manufacturers logo on the front .
