This model Rhino has a blade length of 9 centimeters , so its size is ideal for carrying it comfortably in big game hunting Muela has more than 60 years manufacturing knives high range capable of drilling surfaces very comfortable and simple .

Sandvik 14C28N steel

The alloy chosen by the prestigious Spanish manufacturer for the blade of this Rhino is the Sandvik 14C28N , which was ordered in 2012 by Kershaw , to subsequently open its market to the cutlery world. It has incredible corrosion resistance , thanks to its added nitrogen and chromium .

This material is a modified and improved steel that has excellent conditions in relation to sharpening and maintenance, as well as in hardness and resistance to abrasion.

Its specific composition is 0.62% carbon, 0.2% silicon, 0.6% manganese, 0.025% phosphorus, 0.010% sulfur, 14.0% chromium and 0.11 nitrogen, with a hardness up to 57-61 HRC .

Handle

The exclusivity of this Rhino comes with the material of the handle of the knife, since the designers of Muela have chosen the Cocobolo wood , a type of tree that grows in Costa Rica and is characterized by its great strength and durability over time.

Among its most outstanding properties are its rigidity and robustness against impact shock, and also its spectacular finish , since the Cocobolo is often used in the manufacture of craftsmanship of first quality . This wood is along with mahogany, one of the most prized in the world , hence this knife is unique .

Blade

The back of this Rhino includes a serrated region that is very useful for making tears on leather and other synthetic fibers such as rope or paracord. At the same time, it is formed by a full tang blade that prevents the knife from a possible separation from the hilt.

The blade profile is Drop Point with straight edge , which allows the user to make clean and deep cuts on a very wide work surface , making it an ideal model for hunting . Its satin gray finish gives it a simple and elegant look.

Sheath

The transport of this knife straight edge will be completely safe , since Muela has incorporated with the Rhino , a leather sheath brown with double-stitching to resist over a long period of time. In addition, it is over-printed with the manufacturers logo , both on the holster and on the button closure.
