This material is a modified and improved steel that has excellent conditions in relation to sharpening and maintenance, as well as in hardness and resistance to abrasion.
Its specific composition is 0.62% carbon, 0.2% silicon, 0.6% manganese, 0.025% phosphorus, 0.010% sulfur, 14.0% chromium and 0.11 nitrogen, with a hardness up to 57-61 HRC .
Handle
The exclusivity of this Rhino comes with the material of the handle of the knife, since the designers of Muela have chosen the Cocobolo wood , a type of tree that grows in Costa Rica and is characterized by its great strength and durability over time.
Among its most outstanding properties are its rigidity and robustness against impact shock, and also its spectacular finish , since the Cocobolo is often used in the manufacture of craftsmanship of first quality . Blade
