MycoGrow Powder | Mycorrhizal Powder for Amanita caesarea Production
MycoGrow Powder | Amanita caesarea is a mycorrhizal inoculum powder designed to stimulate the cultivation of Amanita caesarea in forest species like oak or chestnut. It contains active spores and endomycorrhizal fungi for effective root system application.
- Exclusive formula developed over 12 years
- Promotes mycorrhizal symbiosis and mushroom production
- Ideal for hardwoods: Oak, Cork Oak, Chestnut, etc.

MycoGrow Powder | Amanita caesarea is a wettable mycorrhizal powder specifically developed for cultivating Amanita caesarea, also known as Caesar’s mushroom. Formulated by Aromas e Boletos after more than twelve years of research, this inoculum combines active spores of Amanita caesarea with pioneering endomycorrhizal fungi (Glomus intraradices and Glomus mosseae).
Suitable for application on hardwood forest species—such as oaks, cork oaks, chestnuts, strawberry trees, or eucalyptus—this product enhances natural mycorrhization of root systems and stimulates fruiting under appropriate conditions.
Key benefits:
- Improved nutrient uptake: enhances phosphorus, nitrogen, and essential micronutrient availability.
- Increased environmental stress resistance: boosts tolerance to drought and poor soils.
- Protection against pathogens: strengthens root defenses against soil-borne diseases.
- Soil structure improvement: promotes better aeration and water retention.
- Supports biodiversity: vital for forest ecosystem sustainability.
Usage instructions:
- Expose surface roots of trees aged 5–25 years.
- Dissolve 30 g in 5 L of water and apply while stirring.
- Water directly onto root area and cover with the removed mulch layer.
Recommendations:
- Apply on damp days to avoid nutrient runoff.
- Avoid deep tilling in following years.
- Keep understory lightly cleaned and prune to increase light exposure.
- Water weekly during extended dry spells.
- Avoid pesticides and herbicides that may disrupt mycorrhization.
Expected fruiting: 18 to 36 months post-application, depending on management and environmental conditions.
Contents: 30 g of mycorrhizal spore powder inoculum.
What is mycorrhization? It’s a symbiotic relationship between soil fungi and plant roots, where fungi either surround (ectomycorrhiza) or penetrate root cells (endomycorrhiza), enhancing nutrient and water exchange.
Benefits of mycorrhization:
- Enhanced nutrient uptake
- Greater drought and soil stress resistance
- Natural defense against root pathogens
- Improved soil health
- Sustainable forest ecosystem support
Mycorrhization is essential to improving plant health, productivity, and resilience in both cultivated and forest environments.
