Description

MycoGrow Powder | Cantharellus cibarius is a wettable mycorrhizal powder designed to enhance the production of *Cantharellus cibarius* (chanterelles), a highly prized culinary mushroom. Developed by Aromas e Boletos over more than twelve years, it contains a powerful blend of *C. cibarius* spores and pioneering endomycorrhizal fungi (*Glomus intraradices* and *G. mosseae*).

Ideal for hardwood forest species such as oaks, pines, chestnuts, cork oaks, beeches, birches, or eucalypts. It promotes natural mycorrhizal symbiosis with host roots aged 5–25 years in suitable conditions.

Key benefits:

  • Enhanced nutrient uptake: phosphorus, nitrogen, and essential micronutrients
  • Greater drought tolerance and resilience to environmental stress
  • Root pathogen protection and improved root health
  • Improved soil structure: better aeration and water infiltration
  • Boosts forest biodiversity

Application method:

  1. Expose surface roots of trees aged 5–25 years.
  2. Dissolve 30 g in 5 L of water and stir during irrigation.
  3. Apply to the root zone and cover with removed mulch.

Recommendations:

  • Apply on moist days to avoid nutrient loss.
  • Avoid tilling treated areas in subsequent years.
  • Lightly clear understory and prune to improve light access.
  • In drought, irrigate once weekly.
  • Avoid herbicides or pesticides that interfere with mycorrhization.

Anticipated fruiting: 18–36 months post-application, depending on environmental conditions and management.

Contents: 30 g of mycorrhizal powder inoculum.

What is mycorrhization? It's a symbiotic relationship between soil fungi and plant roots. The fungus either surrounds (ectomycorrhiza) or enters the root cells (endomycorrhiza), enhancing water and nutrient exchange.

Benefits of mycorrhization:

  • Increased nutrient uptake
  • Improved stress resistance
  • Enhanced natural root defense
  • Better soil health
  • Promotes biodiversity and forest sustainability

Mycorrhization is vital to improving plant health, productivity, and resilience in both forestry and agriculture.

AI FAQs
It is a mycorrhizal powder inoculum designed to stimulate the production of chanterelles (Cantharellus cibarius) by creating a symbiosis with the roots of hardwood trees.
Application is simple: mix the powder with water and apply by irrigation directly to the root system of trees such as oaks, pines, or chestnuts.
It is specifically formulated for hardwood and conifer species, being ideal for oaks, pines, and chestnuts.
The appearance of mushrooms depends on the maturity of the tree and favorable weather conditions, after the establishment of the mycorrhizal symbiosis.
MycoGrow has an exclusive formulation backed by 12 years of scientific research in the field of mycology.
