GROWING INSTRUCTIONS MICOKIT OYSTER MUSHROOMS
-
- Place the micokit in a cool place, between 10º and 20ºC, with some light. The lower the temperature the lower the yield, being a temperature of 18ºC the best cultivated, producing between 800 gr and 1.5 kg in normal conditions and leaving space the longer the growing cycle, being an ideal temperature of 18ºC. Avoid direct sun and do not place it near a radiator or other heat source.
- Keep the micokit closed for 7 to 10 days
- After a week to 10 days, the first fruits will have formed. It is time to cut the top of the bag, 2 to 3 cm above the substrate. Do this carefully so as not to injure the first mushrooms that have already formed
- You can place a plastic bag on top of the bag to allow light to pass through, but maintain a slight ventilation. This way you will keep the upper part of the substrate with the necessary humidity.
- An option is not to cut the upper part of the bag completely, so that this part serves to protect the first fungi
- You can spray the substrate with water to favor the growth of the mushrooms.
- When you consider that each specimen has reached the desired size, use a knife to cut it carefully and leave space for other mushrooms to continue growing.
- Once the first bloom has been harvested, between 500 gr and 1 kg of thistle mushrooms, you should carefully remove the remains of the cut feet, water the bag again and cover it with plastic wrap to start a second bloom.
- To increase production after the second bloom, you can cover the substrate with 2 or 3 cm of moistened garden peat
- The final mushroom production of each micokit will depend on the conditions in which it has been cultivated, producing between 800 gr and 1.5 kg in normal conditions
You can download the instructions for use in the attached documents tab, in 2 weeks you can harvest your first thistle mushrooms!
The production depends a lot on factors such as humidity and temperature, so you must follow the instructions we provide to get a good production of thistle mushrooms.
