Matertruf, Solid Substrate with Truffle Spores

Matertruf is a solid substrate enriched with truffle spores developed to improve the implantation and development of mycorrhization in truffle plantations. Its formulation is designed to reinforce the presence of the fungus in the soil and promote the correct symbiosis between the mycelium and the roots of the host tree.

This substrate can be used both in new plantations, applying it directly during tree planting, and in established plantations, where it acts as a reinforcement for mycorrhizal activity. Its light and airy structure facilitates integration with the natural soil of the plot, improving the conditions for mycelium development.

Matertruf combines vermiculite and blonde peat, two materials that provide excellent moisture retention and good aeration of the substrate. This base is enriched with high concentrations of truffle spores and biostimulant active ingredients that help stimulate mycorrhizal colonization and strengthen the symbiosis with the tree roots.

Thanks to its solid format, Matertruf offers greater stability and shelf life than liquid products, in addition to facilitating its transport, storage, and direct application in the field.

Application method: apply approximately 250 cc per nest, mixing it with the soil of the terrain. It is especially indicated for nests made without the addition of other substrates.

Number of nests per plant according to tree age:
• Between 5 and 8 years: 4 nests per plant
• Over 8 years: 6 nests per plant

Available formats:
• 100 L bag: allows treating up to 400 nests. It contains the same spore content as a 5 L jug of liquid substrate, with greater duration and stability.
• 50 L bag: allows treating up to 200 nests. Equivalent to the spore content of a 2 L jug of liquid substrate, with the advantage of better preservation.
