The steel MoVa from Albacete has a hardness up to 61 HRC , according to the Rockwell Scale, which is considered one of the strongest steels in the cutlery world. In addition, it allows obtaining one of the best cutting edges in the national market.
Its exact composition is 0.53% carbon, 0.50% manganese, 0.35% silicon, 14.50% chromium, 0.50% molybdenum and 0.18% vanadium.
Handle
The handle is made of Micarta with an alpaca ferrule. Micarta, also known as Phelonic or Celeron , is an industrial material of high performance that allows resistance to high temperatures up to 185 degrees.
